  3. I didnt know that last part, thanks big time. Ive been doing it every spring since i was little with my dad, only problem is my river is going way downhill for no apparent reason and most holes just dont hold fish anymore. But i still got one or two lol
  4. Havnt had any time to get the kayak out so i walked the river today. Beast hook and keitech, ended up with 5 with this 35” taking being biggest

    Bait choice

Hypothetically, if i knew my PB was sitting on the bottom of a weed line in 8ft, adjacent to deep water, forage is an assortment of panfish, what should i throw?
  7. Awesome dude i love river pike. If the water ever gets muddy, try something orange

    806

Im newer to swimbaits but i wanna get more into it, and im tired of throwing baits on rods that cant handle swimbaits. Ive decided i want a dobyns 806, but whats the difference between the fury and the champion? Any experience with the extra long 26” handle?

    Pike in creeks

Still ice on the lakes around here so had to find some open water. Early pike are in the creeks already, biggest went just under 36” on a big ayu keitech and beast hook
  10. The big whopper plopper has had good success for me
  11. All summer my best bet has been bluegill softbaits, on weedlines, at sundown. Dark i will switch to wake. About 6 fish over 5lbs and one was 6.7 on the bluegill, pretty good got SE mich
