Top Ramen
Is that a sk rise up or stock? Thanks Not sure if it was the rise up version. It did have the wieght in the tail, but I'm not sure if that makes it a rise up. Good info. If I were to send you my bait, how much would your charge? I really don't want to get into the business of doing this for other people; just sharing some helpful information.
SPEEDBEAD
Bumping this back up. When you get the skin off, what is the hard body made of? I just took the skin off one and its got lines running through it that almost look like wood grain?
SwimbaitsatLMV
Has anyone had a bill that just will not come out? I have knocked bills out of every other type of bait, and this one beat me. I tried tapping it, sanding it, and grinding it out with a dremel, and none worked. Still some of the bill in there and I put a couple notches in the gave trying to do it.
SPEEDBEAD
Mine broke off today when I was wiggling it around with pliers. Whatever they glue it in there with, it's strong.
Top Ramen
Has anyone had a bill that just will not come out? Mine broke off today when I was wiggling it around with pliers. Whatever they glue it in there with, it's strong. That's why I recommend just grinding it flat.
Scales
Thats sweet! I might try this.
SPEEDBEAD
Fortunately, it broke off in there deeper than I would be able to grind it and it also broke uniformly. No ragged edges. Gotta get some putty tonight and will be throwing it this weekend.
Fish-Styk
Try a small very thin paint scraper and lightly tap it between the bill and bait to break up any glue. I do this on both sides of the bill and it should come out with very little effort. Not always the case...but the ones I have broke have broke clean as well.
