My scale read 9 lbs 9 oz but my nephew's scale read 9 lbs 7 oz so I'm calling it 9 lbs 8 oz. But I submitted the catch as 9 and 7 oz She doesn't seem quite ready to spawn. I only wish she had a pot belly. Can't believe it's only 1/2 a lb shy of what would've been my first dd. Stoked but still on the hunt. Anyways I started out fishing the micro mink for about 20 minutes. Waking and cranking. And I decide to put on the mini trucha before moving to the next spot. Brand new bait from toxics last drop of truchas, first time I'm tying it on, first time owning and fishing a mini trucha. Very first cast she smacks it.
