I purchase this od rat from another member on here but wasn’t told about the tail screw (where tail screw on ) was missing or broke  I really like the rat is this something that is repairable? Can I just add something to make it work or do I just send it back ??? Thanks for any advice

Epoxy a corkscrew baitkeeper, like on an A rig,  into the tail hole and you can screw on and off different tails

this is the way to go

another option is the way toxic does his minks, get a .072 screw eye, screw it in (make a small pilot hole first) and screw it in, slide the tail over it and use a toothpick to keep it in place

I vividly remember that he put it in the description that the bait did not come with a tail screw because I was just a little to late to the party. Don’t try and call him out. Super glue a roboworm on there and call it good

I don’t know what listing you guys are talking about this is the one I purchase it from never mention about tail screw lock … I was just asking about how to go about making it useable and thanks to all the great ideas that I can try out sounds like epoxy and center pin lock would work… I paid 150 for it 34F53ED9-E579-434A-86DB-72B753C3BAD2.thumb.png.4cef4485bb04e93fd718bc7272ee1490.png67A42B66-658A-426C-9515-5B181642067A.thumb.png.001a86f3f914f809e1d1abf406623eb8.png

That’s because you paid double what he paid from the original poster, he clearly states the screw is missing and the tail and was $70, original post below which is the one everyone is referring too

Wooooooooow.  I remember seeing this, but didn’t put the two together.  Buy it for a steal and flip it for double immediately the same place you bought it from….that’s….cool :-o

Sorry to hear about this guys. I thought it would be put to good use and not flipped.  Too each his own. No worries.

Thanks for the backup about the post and original item description when I sold it for $70..

To the OP: these guys have some great responses for repair, take your pick. If you have any questions you can message me. You did good on the bait, don’t stress it. There’s something to be had for making repairs and then hitting success. I hope you stick a big ol rat slurper! - Rob
