BDB G2 Shellcracker and the Spro 40 size have always produced smallies for me. Great budget baits. But anything in that smaller profile should work. The regular sized buzzjet is my goto on rivers followed by a plopper. The hybrid popper and walk the dog baits are also excellent, especially during early morning fog.
