ThePhonse
Anyone ever use mend it to glue the pipe cleaner in?
thedonnguyen
Yes, I prefer it over superglue
SwimbaitsatLMV
Mend it won't glue the pipe cleaner in, it only melts plastic.
SPEEDBEAD
Mend it won't glue the pipe cleaner in, it only melts plastic. 316 glue has held my hudd pipe cleaners in without fail since I did the glue review on here what, two years ago? Maybe I just got it wedged in there and plastic melted around it but it has stayed put, even through dragging the river for muskies.

SwimbaitsatLMV
Beats me man. I know that it "shouldn't" glue anything other than plastic.... it's never worked for me before. Maybe the pipe fuzz has plastic in it?

ThePhonse
Would you guys reccomend trying it or just going with gel super glue?
VAngler
Would you guys reccomend trying it or just going with gel super glue? hahaha dude the conclusion here is that mend it will work. I used mend it for mine and it has worked perfectly. Mike Long does a gill mod tutorial on his website and he uses mend it. . . . . . Yes, I recommend trying it. bigworm
Or just use super glue. that works too. gives the gills a wet look that the fish really key in on and will increase your bites tremendously.
Rogervang
They will bite it with any glue.

DinoSaysHigh
i used pros soft bait glue and it worked perfect. the only thing is that the glue dries almost instantly so the very first time i used it i glued my finger to the bait on accident. cd7
Wow... It's gone so far to where people are worried about what glue you put on the gills? I didn't know you needed gills to get bit. I think people are worrying about the wrong stuff to help them catch fish. Take it out of the package bend the hook up a little and go to work. That's my advice on your glue
