The boundary waters canoe area is a unbelievable fishery and really underfished. 75% of it is no motorized vehicles. The areas with motors do get fished a little harder but in comparison to most places even those areas have hardly any pressure. Really cool area, 150 miles along the boarder and over a million acres. Makes for awesome hiking, canoeing, and most importantly fishing. You get on some of those lakes and you feel like no one else has ever been there and you really feel like the fish have never seen a bait in their lives.... they can be stupid easy in some of those lakes.
