So that really helps to fund my addiction
bigpoppabass
I know I am not fishing enough when I find myself buying alot of baits. When I am buying baits, it usually means no boat repairs etc. and not buying gas to make trips. reelfish

danthefisherman
"Fishing/Biology" elective through school to get materials to build my own! It's awesome! I can't get materials myself anymore, but anyone still in HS should look into it. Maybe it'll work for you too!
gcopple
Quarterly bonus checks. I'm a pharma rep. That's why you will see me very active on the black market then I fall off for a few months then I'm back again. Like others have said a vicious cycle. Ceaser
Line, replacement trebles and occasional soft plastics arent bad.. and how many baits does a guy really need? I spent far more on conventional tackle. MoparMagnolia and igl00jx

marc626
No need to post how or many hours we work. Vote for Trump with no fear. My state of California is full of mentally challenged Clinton supporters. Hilarious. O.k. time for bed. I'm done. gcopple

MarkH024
I budget very carefully, and I sell off things I don't use to fund new baits or gear. I live in IL which is complicated enough to begin with [don't ever move to this state], I have two kids, a wife, two mortgages,...so money is extremely tight for me. There are a lot of things I want to have, but my better conscious talks me out of it. Then there are things I "need" just as my wife says. Some how I make it all work out and still keep my kids fed and happy. I hardly drink aside from keeping a bottle of scotch or 3 in the house for a night cap. I don't smoke and I don't go out to bars. I'm a home body and I enjoy spending time with my kids and wife. Be responsible with your money at a young age, you will value a dollar far more when you get to the point of having REAL responsibilities. I have been working since I was around 10 helping my old man out with his side business and cutting lawns on weekends. I worked in high school in the summers and on breaks. Always paid for my cars, gas, insurance, etc. Once you start doing all of that, you have a better appreciation for the things you actually worked hard for. swimbaitman
I'm in Lawschool now, so I have no money for baits. I sell stuff I don't use and fish what I have. I've figured out the few baits that I have and I feel as though I don't need a ton of different baits. Nobody "needs" a ton of baits, we all just want a ton of baits.
