bigpoppabass Posted April 14, 2017 Report Share Posted April 14, 2017 (edited) It appears a famous net seller cornered the market letting a 20% off special go through with a 10% gift card discount. $160 is exactly 1/3 off leaving other folks with inventory...For those tempted, reel is best used with braid and is an ok to good reel for heavy mono or copolymer, at least for SBS. But for pitching SBS or even jigs it is an awesome reel. Check out siemental vid on cadence somebody posted here. My opinion is totally different. I like it way better than what it is being replaced by. The build quality on Japanese vs anywhere else Shimano reels is night and day.
