New Deps Slide Swimmer vs Old

So I have very recently gotten into throwing big swimbaits, and I have come across a great deal of Deps 175/250 models on eBay, here, and other sites.  My question is, what is the difference between the old and new models?  Which do you guys prefer?  Sorry for the noob question, but I cannot seem to find the answer to this anywhere.

Thanks for the info! Think I'm going to go with an OG and try it out before I invest a lot more in the new one.

If you are concerned with $$ amount, you may want to look into starting with a "new" version since they are typically less expensive. Some great deals to be had if you keep an eye out.

May want to do it the other way around. The OG models are usually 2-3 times the price of the new ones and are only marginally better in my opinion. The new ones are pretty good. I'd go for a new model first.
