LIBass
Hey guys, How many of you toss baits that are very unnatural? I was thinking of getting a bright pink or white glide bait, because I know they are very visible. However, they look totally unnatural. What's your guys' opinions? Thanks! Moleman
From where I'm from, California, it seems that natural usually beats out unatural. That being said, it seems that you have to classify the type of fishing you are doing, baits like the waddhogg or hard thumping bait(meant to illicit a true reaction strike) are better when they are bold. With baits like glides it seems to depend on how you are working them on color choice, hard fast stuff the bright colors could be effective but if you are methodically fishing it then you might what to lean towards a more natural bait. Finally, soft baits are usually best when natural. jakevlastnik, Jace D and Bigbasser

LIBass
Gotcha, I have a gan craft 178 in perch but saw a cool white one on ebay that I was thinking about picking up. Just have to think of an application for it
MA Frog Man
I tend to go with natural patterns vs unnatural. On a tough bite though pink baits have saved me from the skunk a few times. But I agree that presentation is more important than color in most cases

drewmoniz
Not a bad idea to have some "loud" colors in your arsenal. Sometimes standing out is what's gonna get you bit.
mjw2121
Personally I think there's a time and a place for both.Depends on multiple things for me but when the water is merky I love white. Its my favorite color to throw actually.
