That sounds like a fun challenge. 4 hours ago, dominioncaster said: Peacock bass for those FL canals. I would consider a 1 off peacock if someone wanted one. You interested? 1 hour ago, Luke h said: How did I you carve the scales? By the way they look great. Thanks man! I did the scales with a carving gouge and a carving knife. The gouge is made by pfeil and the knife is a flexcut.

TootsMalone
Finished up a yellow perch for some testing at Lake Marion in SC. And the rest of the bodies are well on their way to paint. El_Weruso and CG_Fishes

TootsMalone
It’s been 7 months since these bodies have left the box i put them in back in June. A lot has changed since then. Built a garage/shop out of the carport attached to my house. Now there is a designated place to build, paint, design and test baits. Oh and finish this box of 4 piece swimbaits. Painted 2 of the 6 bodies that passed inspection in a Golden Shiner pattern with gold/green color shift paint. TootsMalone
The next 2 will more than likely be a pumpkinseed pattern using a light blue/green color shift. The last two are undecided. Also planning on shooting my clears from here on out. Dipping with this much detail in the carving is just giving an unmanageable amount of bubbles. porkmeatballs
Great job! The color shift really pops with the clear coat! TootsMalone
