Mitchduh
Looking at getting into the swimbait game this year! Shore fish alot so I found a 74H SB poison adrena, something that's not too long. Live in iowa and bluegill are main forage. What are some nice lures yall like throwing, maybe some that arent super costly? Thanks for looking and
SumoNinja
Mattlures, huddleston, savage gear, ganterals All those brands have less costly gill baits that are proven baits El_Weruso
5150KokaneeEaters
Matt lures hard gills!!! 3:16 5” bluegill line through is a killer or even the rising suns in the bluegill pattern. MillerDaPikeKiller
Luke_264
One thing you have to look out for on the hard bluegill baits is that it’s a hard shape for bass to eat so the profile of like a jackal gigantarel is a much better slim bluegill profile. surfk9

chefchris
Real prey bluegill and the burrito gill are awesome soft bait options the real preys are easy to get, custom colors and sink rates and $25 the burritos are nice but hard to get
PKNNH
The Jackall Ganterals are great baits
Mitchduh
Thanks for all the feedback guys! I have a Gantarel Jr. Looking into getting the regular size too. The real prey looks interesting as well! I have one other question. I know it's all about matching the hatch, but how many of you throw trout baits in bodies of water that dont have trout before? I've heard it works sometimes!

A bass is a bass anywhere and they still have a predatory response to eat a smaller fish. I’m from pa but working in Florida for the winter, these FL bass don’t seem to mind getting a taste of some trout! Luke_264

JimmyTheGreek815
MDC swimbaits makes a great bluegill profile wakebait. It's like a slightly bigger version of a shellcracker and you can work it painstakingly slow on top, or you can burn it. One of my all time favs

Do you think he will say, "that does not seem right" and let it pass by? It will eat it for sure. At worst it will eat it than spit it out.
