  4. For sale, 3:16 Born Again Armageddon in Perch Trout pattern. This is a wake, but could get sub-surface on a hard retrieve. Great condition with very little rash. Private message cash offers. The only bait I’ll consider in a trade are for PB Rats.

  5. First, let me just say thank you for all the excellent info on SU. IMO this is THE place for all things swimbait and I thank all of you for sharing what you have learned. One issue that comes up more often than not is how do we store these baits and keep everything intact so that they will continue to run acceptably. I have struggled to find the answer but continue to experiment with new ways to store baits during travel or in the boat. I recently completed a storage system that I wanted to share with you. It's only thru cooperative efforts that we can get this right, or as right as it can be. Everyone will have their own ideas, needs and wants. Mine was to be able to travel with an extensive collection of large swimbaits without bending tails, chipping paint or not being able to find what I wanted at a moments notice. I took an old spotting scope carrying case and made some padded inserts out of some foam sandwiched thin board found at Hobby Lobby and glued 1/2 inch foam to it on both sides. I use this as a "shelf" to lay baits on and stack it three deep. Most baits fit nicely. However, 12" Salmmers, Mothers and other extra large baits were the exception. For them I used a similar concept only with a different box, one large enough to lay the big baits flat. I can only fit two layers in this one but I built a feature for the Klash baits where I don't have to remove the tails or bills to keep then straight. The slotted foam piece keeps them straight with the tail laying flat. An egg shell piece of foam fits around the bills on top. It looks ugly but it works. I use bait wraps to carry what I want on the boat although these boxes will fit in the port rod locker if needed. My only concern is if the coatings or material on the baits reacts with the foam padding over time. I've never had a problem in the past but there is always a first time. Anyone ever have a problem with this? Hope this might give some of you some ideas, 'spoon

  13. Out of all people you’re going to be rude to mossypumpkin. This is what the SU black market was designed for. You sir amkane89 are one of the reasons why we have issues on SU. If you have nothing beneficial to add to the post, then just leave it alone.

    Phantom Shad 250

Sorry for bad pic. Bait is in great condition. Great swim. Have stock front hook if you don't want the feathered. Looking for a large, floating glide of reputable origin. Dockrat maybe. Or a big, white or bone floating triple trout. If we trade and you don't like the swim on the 250 we'll trade right back.

  24. I'm aware they are new, and that only those close to where they shipped from will have them... Also aware that I'm not getting one for retail. I'll pay. Thought it would be ok to ask to purchase one if someone had one they'd let go. Appreciate the advice.

Still, really has nothing to do with you. He could have made this post himself and honestly I wouldn't have blamed him. Anyways, issue resolved. Thank you, again, officer Hall.

  33. Seems like a flawed model...They are leaving money on the table by not meeting the demand. I have money that they would have gotten but did not. My prediction is that I will lose interest in the particular bait and spend that money with another maker/bait manufacturer who has provided enough supply where I can actually get one.

  34. 100 percent.... Mass production on a $250 bait that the finish will last about 2 hours of fishing it. But people will buy, including myself.

    Klashes and TKs are UP

Supply and demand keep the supply low, demand stays high and people will pay big $$ Keeps the hype up and keeps em in everyone’s mind

  40. You are going to get overwhelmed with opinions, some good and some bad. You are also going to read some BS all over the internet. What's good for one is not good for all. My advice is you need to figure this out on your own. Get out on the water and take 4 types of baits with you. Rats for topwater, soft baits for bottom, swimmers to cover an area, and glides to keep in the zone a little longer. Pay attention to when you catch fish and when you do not, water temp, moon, depth, time of year, weather. Then you should be able to figure it out on your water. Post them up in the Gotem section. 45. I’d have to say 250s and negotiators, not saying they’re bad baits at all, they catch fish for days but I just feel like they’re (especially the 250) hyped up as god tier baits when personally I have baits IMO that I believe swim just as good if not better, and much cheaper which allows me to fish them deep/ heavy structure. So if I break off I don’t flip out about losing $130-$200 I only lose $40-70$
