I got an idea, put the phone down and get out on your waters. That is the best place to learn your water, fish habits, and your style of fishing swimbaits.9 points

First crawler fish
ThatKidInNY and 7 others reacted to BassJunkie for a topic
So I bought one of Kris Ellis’s molla gilla crawlers on his last drop and haven’t gotten to throw it much. Last night was in the high 50’s and I couldn’t seem to get bit so I tied the crawler on 5 minutes later a 5.3 IMG_2751.MOV8 points -

KISS Fishing Bait Roll
chevro1et and one other reacted to Mossypumpkin for a topic
Ok so I have a review for these wraps. Might post it in the review section as well. Tested these out this spring and am very impressed! And normally I don’t like wraps. So I loaded it it up with 8 Large slammers. The pouches were plenty big enough and help them snug. Two in each pocket, of course. They fit well and did not stick out at all, so they’re deep pockets! You could easily use these for Mother’s and such. Side note: I love the design of the flap, how when you fold it down over the pockets, the sides of it are angled inward just a bit. It’s a cleaner look. Hope that makes sense. So I rolled them all up and tied it tight. I made sure the flap was on the outside. Super easy to carry and very convenient to tote around 8 big baits. The nicest part, like I thought, was that it was very cushioned and durable for your baits. I wouldn’t mind tossing it with the baits into the bushes or on the grass. Maybe not with 8 mothers in there, but 8 slammers? Sure! I even rolled it across my garage floor and they never made a sound. You could practically throw them onto the concrete and not have to worry about your baits. Especially if they’re tied tightly. I love the simplicity of them. Don’t have to worry about moisture or ripping on seems like cheap ones. It’s very quality made. Hope this helps people decide to purchase one of these! I don’t think anyone would be disappointed!2 points -

I would like to announce that after decades and decades of rigorous, hazardous and dangerous scientific studies spanning across the galaxy, i have concluded that the shimano cardiff does in fact have internal brakes. I never thought it had brakes only a tension knob, watched a video on youtube after you guys said you had brakes turned on, took the side plate off and wouldnt you know all of my brakes were off.2 points -
Go around in the SUTV section of the forum. You can find a lot of users youtube channels in there. Personally I really like Brent Davis's channel. Dude sticks some absolutely massive northern strain bass.2 points

11lbs 15oz
Jon P and one other reacted to Rj3anderson for a topic
Started 2021 off with a bang. This was my 2nd trip out of the year. She hit the deck at 11lbs 15oz x 26”. I shouldn’t have landed her. She put me in a tree about 12 feet down. I was just watching her struggle for like two minutes hopping she would get herself free from the branches. Right as I was about to swim down to get her she came free. She must not have known she was free from the tree because she came right to the net. So lucky.2 points -

Bite-Sized Shad
BigBassLife133 and one other reacted to danthefisherman for a topic
Picture-heavy with a few catch highlights: So far I've caught two pb bass and one pb crappie all on my first prototype. Even the dinks choke this thing down which is great when the bite is slow. I haven't even poured another prototype yet because this one is working too well haha. Sometimes bite-size is the right-size2 points -
Thanks for the tips I think a glide is my ticket to getting them out of the cover. Due to the clarity of the water I hope they'll be drawn out so long as its down deep enough.2 points

Bite-Sized Shad
CT-TahoeBassFishing reacted to danthefisherman for a topic
Here's that same blank painted up in a "sexy shad" pattern. The silver base really makes it flash and come alive in the water. I'm hoping to place in the TU lure building contest with this because I'm almost out of these smaller screw eyes and need to buy more The silicone I used for my first mold was getting old which caused bubbles to become trapped on the parting surface. Had to buy more and I'm currently working on remolding the single piece master before I can make and mold the two piece glide master.1 point -
