Bought this bait as I was walking through the BPS aisles after a work event. They only had one and were just getting it put out. Some people here may not like it, but it has flat out got bit the last few days. Fish posted went 6.8.

I’ve been on the pursuit for a lunker for some time now just like every one of you crazy’s. That’s what really made me gravitate to large swimbaits here the past few months. Going in to this season, my personal best was 7lb 6oz while losing some bigger bass along the way. Since I started throwing swimbaits, I’ve now topped that weight twice, and shattered my previous PB this past weekend. This old heifer absolutely cranked my Biggs Denali and weighed in at 9lb 3oz! When we boated her, I thought no doubt she was a 10+. Just goes to show how big and special these fish really are. The feeling of being so close, but yet so far will really fuel my quest now. I had 3 others that were of the same caliber swipe at it, just didn’t get a hook in’em!

I have been in Sweden for the past 3 weeks for an internship I got with the Swedish University of Argicultutal Sciences studying the fisheries in the Baltic Sea. The experience has been absolutely incredible, and I am having the time of my life. Attaining a rod while here has been difficult to say the least, as I was only able to bring a reel and baits on the plane. I finally found a local shop to order one in for me, but in the meantime I decided to grab a rod from the school until then and stop waiting. I ended up catching 5/11 fish, a function of using a spinning rod I believe, not yet having it dialed. My biggest was over 30" but I didn't have a tape. Seems like the Pike fishing is pretty good here! Also, here are some photos of fish from sampling for fish. Needless to say I am in heaven!

Finally made it back on the site since 2017 been mostly fly fishing and decided to get back on the swimbait gig to catch my PB. Went out with a BBZ 1 and started chucking it from the bank worked my way through the brush and all to a tree laying in the water casted out let it sink and started a moderate retrieve just as I hit the tree wham I got hit and landed this. Definetly not my PB but first swimbait fish ever. No scale so roughly if say 3-4lbs will keep at it. Looking to expand my bait choices for NH I have had no luck on my hudd mostly hard baits have been my go to any recommendations would be helpful

Been in a slump lately but finally out of it with the help of that so reliable bait from @Jinxd12 - hit him up if u want an affordable waking gill that just flat out gets bit. Not the biggest fish out there but these mediums help me bust that slump.

Not as nice or big as some of the others but “Large Marge”gets me on the water. 10ft alumacraft Jon boat with 55lb thrust trolling motor and 60ah lithium, Garmin echomap 106 with dedicated lithium battery as well. still in the process of getting her all rigged out but probably won’t do much more than what’s there now. maybe a few lil odds and ends here and there.

Was in the area and decided to fish the body of water the Delaware state record largemouth was caught out of (wagamons pond in Milton). I started at the dam above the spillway casting into the wind and lost an 8” magdraft to a pickerel and decided I’d had enough of the swimbait for the day. The spillway at wagamons pond dumps water into the upper broadkill river which is a brackish tidal fishery (roughly 9 miles from the Delaware bay). I caught abt 15 little largemouth blitzing micro bait on a lucky craft pointer sp and as I was abt to leave I watched someone across the river catch a 6lb largemouth on a worm and bobber and said “what the hell why not throw the sly guy around”. I moved over to the other side of the river and saw 20+ bluegill beds scattered around a drainage pipe and knew I had a shot at a big largemouth. These beds happened to be abt 50 yards from a popular Mexican restaurant so there were plenty of people walking around and even more people fishing the spillway. First cast out by the drop off I get 2 chops in with the 6.2” sly guy gill before the water erupted around my bait. At first I thought I’d hooked the state record but after a drag stripping 20 yard run I got her to the bank and realized what I’d caught. And the people fishing next to me offered to take a picture of my catch. I had no idea striper of this size traveled this far upriver and after getting a weight and length on her I realized that this was my biggest striper period. I’ve been chasing a striper of this size all my life in the canal by my house in Lewes and I think it’s pretty funny that I finally land her 9 miles upriver in trophy largemouth territory. Sorry for the long write up but this fish means more to me than a 6lb largie ever could. 11.2lbs 29”

50% aint bad. Its a possibility that some are finicky biters and not fully committing. Your getting bites with your current setup. Changing hooks might affect the action negatively and decrease your oportunities. Just my 2 cents

Post spawner ate the bgc slim gill glide right in front of me. Barely cranked the handle a couple times before I flipped her. I've never been a glide guy, but my confidence has been rising on em. Any bait gets bit it’s all about the time you put in. Bass don’t care about dollar signs. Good fish man.

Thanks man, I haven't had it long but so far so good. 1-3 oz is accurate. From a tk to ufo is great. Personally if i go any heavier than a ufo I'd go to the mh. Probably don't want to throw a heavier crankdown on it since it's softer, being a ml. As u can see it loads all the way to the bottom guide practically

Buy tatsu of a comparable diameter, just bite the bullet. It’s stronger at a given diameter (keep diameter in mind when you get tatsu), has better abrasion resistance as can be shown in tests, is more supple and limber, casts better for that reason, and it just seems to be an overall more durable line from general consensus and available testing. Tatsu is extremely high quality line.
