    God lined up the stars again for me! Had another great 4 day trip and got my 7th DD at 10lb 4oz. Also had a 9lb 12oz, 8lb 8oz, 8lb 4oz and an 8lb even! The warming water along with the full moon had the big ones chewin'! Had a missed opportunity at what looked to be a teener come in hot and not commit to biting and made my heart stop! I'll be back to try for her again... Day 1 - nothing over 5lb Day 2 - 9lb 12oz Day 3 - 10lb 4oz, 8lb 4oz, 8lb Day 4 - 8lb 8oz

    Check out some of Engineered Angler's vids on Youtube. He's done some on resin ratios and how to ballast and weight placement. We all tend to do things a little different, so there's no one way that's right. I use Smooth-On products and still have a couple 5 gal buckets of Alumalite's micro balloons that I bought before they quit carrying them. Usually, lead shot goes where it wants, not where you want and makes dimples where it contacts the mold material. My .02...

    Wish I didn’t have water on my lens for the pic, all good though, this was a very cool catch. The day before I watched her T-Bone the Micro Mink with her mouth closed right between both hooks. Came back the next day to the same isolated clump, casted past the clump and cranked the MM straight into the clump and she chomped it! I’m definitely long arming her in the pic, but still, she was big, a little over 9lbs.
