March was pretty good to me closed out the month with a solid NJ fish and a few mediums. The soon to be released 7” Smolt from Hoog has been really solid and got me a few good ones this month IMG_1026.mov

Being ghosted for a month is pretty bad. What did u pay with? PayPal ff? If u payed g&s, just file the claim and move on. If u paid ff, go to your bank or credit card that was used, tell them that u bought something and it never delivered. They should take it from there. I was scammed once years ago paying ff. I skipped going to PayPal because they won't help u if u sent it ff. But I went to my credit card company and they gave me a temporary refund. They then contact the seller to get proof that the item shipped or got delivered. Of course the scammer has no proof, so my refund went from temporary to a permanent refund. That was the only time I ever got scammed paying with ff and that's what worked for me. Then give an honest feedback of your experience on the seller's feedback and contact the su staff so they're aware of what happened. In the future, try to buy only from solid reputable members or else don't use ff. If someone has little to no feedback, only pay gs or check for references first. Usually a reputable person who knows them will vouch. If all else fails, just pass. There will always be other baits. Good luck to u bro

Why does Lendl Ha NEVER answer messages ????? IDC who you are or how popular you're products have become not answering your customers is a terrible business ethic. I've messaged ILLUDE probably 20 time's in the past 2 years and received no response. Also not announcing bait drops is also a great way to upset people when people/customers are checking their website over and over AND OVER for baits to drop. Time is the one thing in life we NEVER get back.

Went out fishing with my parents for Easter today, and managed to get a Chain pickerel on the Megabass I-slide 187R! I got this glide last fall but hadn’t fished it much at all. Saw that pickerel try to eat it and I jerked it out of his mouth; I threw it back in the same spot and he tried to choke it! Not very big but still cool to catch!

I had more than 100 hours invested into hudd fishing without a single fish. Well today, it finally happened. If I hadn’t lost my Deps 250 earlier I never would have tied it on. I made a long cast over a prime spot and was retrieving at a slow pace. Near the end of the cast I was watching it swim just 3’ under the surface when this beast came up and gulped it. Feels amazing to finally break into the 8s after all these years of grinding.

SUB Tournament April 5th to 11th You must sign up in this thread before the tournament starts on the 5th at 0000 EST or your fish will not count Please read and follow all the rules. Biggest fish wins the tournament Fish must be legitimately caught with a swimbait. Cast and retrieve only, no bed fishing. Pictures must include: the swimbait used picture of the entire fish on a digital scale ONLY picture of the entire fish on a measuring board A secret code will be released at 0000 EST the first day of the tournament. The code needs to be visible in the picture. Pictures must be posted before the end of the tournament. Fish anytime and anywhere between the tourney dates. Once an angler wins a monthly tournament, they are out till the Battle. New weights by state. You must have your state on the scale or in your profile so other participants can see it These rules can change depending on future situations but NOT during the tournament. Tournament will end at 1200 PST/1500PM EST (NOON) on the last day of the tournament Failure to comply with the rules will disqualify your fish.

The weather here in North Cackalacky is starting to heat up! Last week bass were up shallow munchin on whatever they could find, but the last few days of chillier weather have turned eaters into followers! I ordered a Klash 9 from Japan on Saturday, and it was on my doorstep this afternoon, so I just had to take it out for a spin! It took me a few minutes to figure out the cadence to the bait after throwing a Deps 250 for the last week. (I missed a freaking HAWG on it last Friday- heart=broken) Anyways! I was throwing the K9 on an oxbow wall in the creek that feeds the pond my buddy and I fish- and all of a sudden the bait gets t-boned! I was kind of in shock after throwing it all afternoon with just followers and forgot to set the hook- whoops! I was so excited to finally get one of these baits and am definitely looking forward to throwing it until I stick one! Hopefully it'll be soon! What do y'all think about the color? I know the opaque baits are great for those clear Japanese lakes, but how should it fare here on the east coast? Tight lines y'all! -appstlhd

Thanks for the tag, unfortunately I can only speak on the workshop. Idk if they're the same blank. But the xxh workshop throws the ship no problem. I have 25 lb izorline xxx on the rod spooled to a Calcutta 301. But I have to say, the mothership is my only ufo I've not been bit on yet. So I can't speak to the fight. But casting it is fine. I know a guy chucking the ship on a workshop xh and he's caught fish on that rod. Imo the xxh is more ideal for it. Unless I'm wrong though, the standard is supposed to be more moderate? You'd have to verify that.

again, we are talking about a small business, one man shop. if he doesnt want to be pumping baits left and right its his right to. and if he doesnt want to sell baits to dudes that got nothing to prove its also in his right. he doesnt owe you shiit and your crying about supporting someone else wont make him lose sleep.

Another midnight eater on the Mode wake

NEW MA PB. Finally got accepted into the club. 3/27/24, maiden voyage in the Coleman of 2024 with @Sciaramitaro, central MA, sub 45 water temps. 23+ 7-0 on the @Ceaser painted shad TK. Currently in flight heading to @gradycodd hoping for a Texas giant in the next week, making the perfect send off the night before. So stoked.

DS in perch got my best open water bites last year with the exception of a 6.75# on the Biggs Kraken thrown into a shallow rocky flat. A nice surprise but I honestly think I hit her in the head with it - she had no choice. The flash carp 250 has been good for 2 really big bites that came off at the boat. I'm still learning how to land my biggest treble hook bites by hand. I don't know how to keep a net on board the yak unfortunately... A variety of gill glides get me numbers in cover - when I need a bite I just go to the bank and do that. Definitely prefer to fish open water with bigger stuff though. Good luck this season! Hit up the river bend by my apartment after work to get some fishing in with the last hour or so of daylight. Pulled a couple little <30” followers on a glide, but none would commit so I switched to the Nekosogi DSR and second it cranked to the bottom this fish tanked it! went 34”-35” long on the tape and 16.13 lbs on the scale. Pretty high-average for length but an exceptionally healthy egg laden female which puts it two pounds short of my PB. The longest pike I’ve heard of being measured in here was 52” 34 lbs which was a floater collected on private land. A 52” fish with a girth like this 34” is a creature to fantasize about.

Maybe those guy finally figured out that fishin for the gram is LAME and just show their actual friends and just fish for the LOVE of fishing. At least thats what I hope is happening and it spreads like wildfire.
