Mine was anodized. A lot of work including drilling the reel foot out and getting it re riveted.

Is that all you had to do was drill out the rivets? Wonder if you can get thep powder coated?

Powder coat adds weight. You basically have to strip the entire real down to frame then drill out the reel foot

I would NOT powder coat. Nothing will line up after. I used to be a mechanic and hated all the frat guys with asphalt princesses. They get all sorts of stuff powder coated without first thinking about how it will line up. It doesn't line up that well. I wouldn't think it would be better on something 1/1000th the scale.

So the best way to go would be to get it anodized. If you can pm me about it so we dont clog up the feed i would greatly appreciate it.

Rhino Chaser, built it to throw the big heavy stuff.  First time throwing it today, it loaded nicely, hucked  the big wake and xxl mink a mile and had a nice soft bend to it. 

Tady 90 jig stick blank, cord wrap handle. Okuma Komodo 463 ss,  25 lb mono.
