Drew03cmc
https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/bass-pro-shops-graphite-series-muskie-casting-rod I'm wanting to pick up a heavier stick and have a chance at a 1 to 4 oz rod for $150. Is this muskie rod serviceable for tossing midsize baits? El_Weruso
MA Frog Man
What types of baits? That rod is a pool cue. Save up your money and buy something more specifically made for the baits you want to toss. Primus

Fallof74
The Spiralite Maverick SMC86H-MAG is an outstanding rod at a solid price, $129. Plus I think you want to go to an 8' rod instead of a 6' 3", especially as you begin to add more baits to your collection. Planning on getting another +1, I have a daiwa DX XH just sitting and collecting dust with zero fish on it and used it finally this year after about 2 years. I dont know why I didn't use it sooner. Really good rod or the price range. El_Weruso
