chamackO
Are you fishing in cover? You seem to prefer the weedless over other versions

Bassindon69
Are you fishing in cover? You seem to prefer the weedless over other versions Its just working out that way this year. All the lakes I have been too are low for this time of year. That makes for more snags. Two lakes I went to were so low I couldn't launch Im just playing it safe. No chances on blowing the place up trying to get a snagged bait back. Its been nice to fish areas with the weedless without worry of hanging up. I also have still wanted to know for my self what the hook up ratio would be like. Do you find yourself missing any bites with the weedless? Seems like you're doing just fine without all the treble hook mods..
SeanM
Good lord Don, pace yourself! Or don't, and don't catch any SUB fish Good job!
Bassindon69
Chamaco I don't use treble hooks unless fishing an rof5 and thats hardly ever. The weedless comes with a jig hook, so no change for me and no lack of confidence using it. I can see those who lack confidence in the jig hook that use the BB rig would now have to go back to a jig hook lmao!.hook up percentage has been great. Also seems like less harm to the fish (( hooked mostly in lip or cheek.).. .at this time I have as much confidence in the weedless as the 12 and 16.. I have always had confidence in that jig hook.. Do you see the key word?lol
