I didn’t see any reviews for TFox Lures so I though I would make one. Maker: TFox Lure Model: Baham Length: 180mm ~ 7in Weight: About 4 ounces Style: Glide Cost: $110 shipped Time: About a Month from order to door. Features: Floating, Diver, No hooks included Maker: I started by contacting Tfox through Instagram messages, never got his actual name. He always responded very quickly with updates and photos. His English was broken so I didn’t try asking any technical questions about the bait. With that being said he did seem nice, and didn’t require payment until after the bait was completed. When I had to pay I did it through PayPal without any issues. Bait: the bait is pretty interesting. It’s a floater but is heavy for its size, most importantly though it dives. If you look at the photo the fins on the bait cause it to dive to about 3 feet when you start a retrieve. When stopped the bait floats up pretty quickly, I would say like a slow sink matt lures but in the opposite direction. The glide is pretty tight and the bait tracks well. I have a Lexa 300 with 8.1 gear ratio and I can reel near full speed without it blowing out. I have to start slow though then speed up through the cast, it rolls if you try to floor it from a stop. Also, when you reel faster the glide doesn’t get wider, just longer. On a normal steady retrieve its got a very smooth cadence with a small click from the joint. I can’t get it to do a 180, it likes to roll if you give it a hard twitch and it is hard to give it any movement outside a steady retrieve. If you let it float to the surface, then reel so slow the mono doesn’t straighten out the bait makes small s-turns with the slightest ripple on a calm night. Fish: I haven’t fished it a ton yet maybe about 20hrs on the water without any takers. Fish follow a lot but I can’t get the bait to turn and cause a reaction strike. Modifications: the bait has a flat bottom kind of like a negotiator or mother. I took a lot of led tape and tried to get the bait to suspend. It worked but I couldn’t get the tape to hold for more than a couple hours. When I was fishing it as a suspender it looked fishy as heck. If you killed it mid retrieve it would just slowly glide out to the side 3 or 4 feet then stop. I think if you could get the tape to hold you would get fish to hit almost dead-sticking the bait.

Hey Ya'll, I know this might be a bit of a long shot but if anyone has a Hinkle trout they are willing to part with I'd love to take it off your hands. I know the price point on these can be a little funny sometimes, but I am hoping to pay anywhere from $330-$380. I have two reels that I'd be willing to part with in trade for a shad or shiner glide bait or a few. Baits should be close to equal in value. First up is a Quantum EXO300PT. I got it from another SU member a few months ago and fished it a couple times. Great reel but just doesn't fit my tiny hands comfortably enough. Has 20lb mono backing with a fresh top shot of 25lb P-Line Original. 5.3:1 ratio. Next is a Lew's Lazer MG in 5.4:1. Other than a small spot on top, the reel is mint. Has 17lb mono on it currently. I bought it to be a deep crank reel but until I get a boat, deep crankbait fishing won't be in my repertoire. I'm interested in trading first and foremost but if someone wanted to buy them, I'd sell for $155 shipped and PayPal'd. -
I'm looking to buy a glide gill for the upcoming spring that may or may not actually happen here. Really more concerned with it being a 'natural' color than any specific brand. Like the title says, bullshooter jr preferred but not a huge deal at all. If you do have a junior you'd want to part with the color wouldn't matter as much. Let me know, thanks!!!! -
