Hi all, as much as i hate to do it I have to hang up the big bait game for some time indefinitely. being a full time bassist my shoulder is singing the blues from throwing swimbaits for the past couple of years and my physical therapist said its time to lay off or stop playing. for your consideration - two custom rods built by Evan Weidner of Palehorse Swimsuit rods. These rods are dead mint. I took delivery of them last month. They are matched pair of XH & XXH rods. These are the last of the weedless Huddlestons I'm trying to get rid of. There's 4 total 2 are in new condition(the white one is new but just dirty on the bottom). How are you guys storing your Hudds at home and on the water . I have a hand full of 68's and some 8". Was thinking a Plano 3707 the one that has no dividers. Just don't want to mess up the tails . Saw the guy that makes the glide bait hanger out of a Rubbermaid but not sold on it. Good idea not sure it's for me though. Thanks

Went bankfishing today. -it was gloomy, sprinkling, an kinda cool today. -i was the only on the lake because the main road to get there has been closed for about 6 months -was using a rof 12 weedless huddleston the entire time, didnt get one bass bite but had probably a dozen catfish follow the bait to shore, and a equal amount of carp that wouldnt follow as if to eat it but magically appear near the shore 5-10 seconds after getting the bait out of the water. I have never ever seen this happen before, anyone have any clue what the hell would have caused this?

I have a lot of various swimbaits for sale. Perfect buy for anyone getting into swimbaits. I would like to sell as a lot, but I'd be willing to split up for the right price. Does anyone have tips/advice for swimbait fishing heavily pressured LA area lakes like Alondra or Kenneth Hahn? Any help like baits, time of day, weather patterns, etc would be appreciated. Thanks
