freelancer27 Posted January 31 Report Share Posted January 31 I have tried several of the Comedians handles on various swimbait and non swimbait reels and have also fished with someone's reel that had a DRt handle installed. Yes, the Gomexus are not at the same level as the DRT. Most of them do have flex and the tolerances are just not the very best. BUT. For the money, they are def an alternative to the DRT. I run the Carbon handle on my 2018 Antares DC MD. And I really like it!! DRT has most definitely thought about doing a more price sensitive version of their handle, produced at higher volumes. They decided against it. I am sure that their margins are better than the ones from Gomexus. As a consumer it is good to have choices. Planning to keep this thread updated if there are any failures. So far the DRT knockoff has had the knobs start to come unscrewed.
