SDBasser
personally living in sd I fish my tranxs in both salt and fresh, so the extra 100 is worth it. Ive seen some tranxs go down to salt water but thats usually with people who don't take good care of there reels MattGbaz

chefchris
Maybe wasn’t ready for I cast? seems odd they would delay such an iconic reel
chevro1et
If the 300HG is a 6.6:1 as indicated here, there hopefully will be a 5.x:1 as well. Edited August 21, 2020 by chevro1et screenshot Kyle1387

Bass_blaster
I wish they’d do a 300 size DC reel. Assuming they weren’t made horribly, I’d stock up on a few of those. I enjoy using the curado DC for launching into the wind and making quick casts towards breaking fish. Line capacity with 20lb sucks tho. rwp
A few more specs. Pretty impressive that they didn't cut too much out from the Tranx. The curado 300 has a max drag of 22lbs. This is a lot of reel for $200, and its a little lighter too. Edited October 16, 2020 by rwp Primus
