Been on some nice smallies the past week and a half. 5lb1oz PB and a 4lb2oz on the rago weedless and 3 over 4 on the hudd. Also stuck a 5lb1oz largie on the sly trout and 4lb laker on the hudd same day as the PB smallie. Easily my most enjoyable year of fishing so far.4 points

Thank you Basskickinredneck and D-camarena

Hi Swimbait Underground, I would like to thank both Nick (Basskickinredneck) and Daniel (D-camarena) for their generosity. I posted a while back that I was looking for some baits to add to my limited swimbait arsenal, mostly was looking for cheaper stuff like a used 6" hudd or a swaver or anything of that nature and Nick reached out to me with an amazing offer. He was very generous and sent me a box of baits, nothing too fancy but it blew away my expectations! I had never guessed he would have sent me more than one bait as we were talking about shellcrackers. Nick, thank you again man! Just wanted to let everyone know how great of a dude you are. And for Daniel, Thank you, my buddy is on SU much more than I am and he saw your post for about a cheap lot you'd be willing to send to a new guy. I didn't even know about this until he told me!! After you texted me I wasn't sure what was happening and if I should be suspicious and I asked my friend and he told me all about it and I was at a lack of words. At that point I had only a Spro rat 40, and the huddleston 68 my friend gave me. Daniel was generous enough to send me a few things and It was sweet! Thank you Daniel. Thank you both of you! These acts of kindness were totally out of the blue and not what I expected! But that isn't a bad thing. The fact that you guys reached out in a generous way is awesome and I'm still in awe. If the muddy water up here didn't shut off these fish I'd have caught one by now on the baits I got but I can gurantee you guys that they get fished a ton. Just waiting until I get my Dobyns rod back from replacement so I can throw something heavier than 1.5oz ! I am still loving the swimbait scene and just browsing through these posts after lacrosse practice every night is really cool and I'm learning a lot of stuff. Another thank you to the guys out there who came to me with some good deals on some cool baits, they were a bit out of my price range and maybe in a few weeks I can afford one. And also thank you to those with advice on what baits to get, that really helps because now I can narrow down what to look for and (hopefully) waste less money on the already expensive hobby of fishing!! Thank you Swimbait Underground, Will Wright3 points -

Any RC crawlers out there?

Anybody on here into rc crawlers? Let’s see your rigs. Here’s my BPC chassis Bomber. Currently getting fitted to a Baja bug body. The hilux hard body exploded after crashing it off a 30 ft cliff at rock city a couple weeks back.2 points -

If the 4runner has crossbars you could probably cut some pool noodles to fit over them and then lay the kayak upside down on them and strap it down. If no crossbars maybe just a blanket to not scratch the roof and then strap it between the side bars. Whatever you do make sure it's secure though.1 point -

First time ive ever seen a "real" swimbait on a shelf. A kayak store just opened up in a neighboring town, and heard that they might have a few swimbaits. Sure enough there was about 9 bullshads hanging on a shelf. A few herrings, a few 4x4, and a few 6". Had to pick up these two. Was super hyped to finally see a store with a swimbait in it! Just in time for the tournament tonight.1 point -

Just got me a Tarpon 100, need a few more big baits, but I'm normally tossing regular stuff. My swimbaits consist of 5 6" Triple Trouts and a 7" Slammer on the way. My one gripe is my Irod Jr has a long handle that jabs my PFD and makes hooksets tough.1 point -

Picked up my new Hobie PA 12 yesterday. Can’t wait to get it out on the water. Also built my electric hoist system to store it today. Will be able to drop it right in the back of my truck. 226E5D44-A574-464A-9EAE-F70F630C86DE.MOV1 point -

Been fishing out of my current yak for 4 years now. PA 14. Also does lots of time on the bays and coastal marshes. Previously I used a Tarpon 160 and before that, a boat. Lots of guys kayak fish here, but hardly anybody wher I am throws swimbaits. It’s good because the fish don’t see anything I’m throwing often enough to get educated!1 point -

Luckily no lol. I think I've had it like 8-10 years now, bottom of the hull is scratched to hell, but it's been a trooper. It's seen quite a few mods over the years and I usually have it out April into November every year. Me + gear is probably 200lbs so it stays plenty high in the water.1 point -
