So I picked up a spro 40 morning dawn last year after seeing the popularity on here, didn't get to use it much since it was late in the season and I didn't get out much, it did get some attention had 2 hookups (smaller) and 2 missed blowups. So I would like to add some more rats to my arsenal but I'm really only looking for ones close to the size of the Spro 40/50's I'm going to pick up a brown 50 this year hoping it might draw some bigger bites, also been looking pretty hard at the cl8 water voles (seem to be popular on here to) is there any other rats in that size that I should be on the look out for? I know most would say get a giant rat because they have had good success with there's but the bass around here don't really seem to pay any attention to the bigger top water baits, I've only had 1 missed strike on a 7in slammer and not even a sniff on my 9in

8" bbz floater- thrown twice no fish. Like new. 9/10 Strike king 10XD in the bream color. Casted about 3 times. Runs deeper than 20' (2) strike king 8.5 silent squarebills. Chartreuse black. And sexy shad color. Both only casted a few times. I only fish from the bank so the 10XD isn't really that helpful and I don't have a goo crankbait rod to throw such big squarebills like the 8.5 I'm really looking for a trade of swaver 200 and 168, mattlures hardgill, or any bluegill profile baits. I have a Barely ever used Slide Swimmer 175, I've maybe thrown it twice in 2 years, great shape with no hook rash. Will trade for a few hudds or Magdrafts or sell for $80. If you have some big soft baits you're willing to trade shoot me an offer, just don't throw hard baits enough to keep it. Preferably Shad style baits, no trout in Texas. Last night, me and a friend decided to head to a local lake for a night of smallie fishing. We left well before dark and caught a couple 2-3lbers, than once the sun set, there was not a cloud in the sky. Than it got cold. But as soon as it got cold, we stopped catching 12-14 inch smallies for about 30 minutes. I do a long cast with the BBZ rat and left it sitting for a minute. I heard the rat get sucked down and I set and landed a beautiful 5lb 3oz smallie, biggest one ever weighed on a scale outta that lake. Once I caught the 5lb 3oz smallie, I caught a 4lb 7oz smallie on the rat as well, than after that, we just kept catching 4lb+ smallies. In total I think we got 8 over 4lbs and one at 5lbs 0oz the other at 5lb 3oz. Pretty wicked night.

Hey guys. I really just want to deticate this post to SU member JeremyW and bassaholic21 on Instgram. I recently made a post on the underground asking about new baits and where to get some. Jeremy was kind enough to actually send me a box full of baits! I am truly speechless. Your act of kindness hase surpassed everything else I've witnessed. Being 14 money is tight and getting swimbaits is hard. And what you did for me was unbelievable. I can't thank you enough. This is something I'll never forget. Got a shellcracker g2 in bright bluegill fished a couple times no fish on it still in really good condition with box and a black spro rat with extra tail has also been thrown a couple times and there is slight hook rash but still in good shape with no fish on it. I wanna trade not looking for anything in particular but maybe some kind of trout or carp bait but will also consider other baits also willing to add cash on my end for the right bait.
