Went out to a local lake today and stuck a 7.1 pounder on a Burrito Baits like thru bluegill. Lost a even bigger one on the klash but I'll gladly take a 7 pounder as that breaks my old pb by 2 pounds.

I went out today and shore banged for 8 hours. This lake is not known for big fish, lots of dinks. The weather conditions this past week pushed up our first wave of spawning fish, yesterday a big cold front moved through and pushed most of the bass back offrom and back into a feeding mood. I threw the swimbait for the whole day, around 6 p.m I dumped one around 4lbs out on a weed edge, one that I was fishing for quite some time. About an hour passed and I thought the fish had moved up a it more, I do a long cast and bring my bait over a small ridge in about 6 feet of water and bang, the rest is history. Slightly long write up, but I'm pretty stoked on this fish. She was 6lbs 8oz, 22" long, on a white burrito baits taquito unweighted.

Looking to replace 2 burrito baits shads that I lost when my car got stolen and wrecked. I had a sucker punch and a regular shad color tied on. Both were 6" shad line thru. But if anyone has these in top hook versions I may be interested in it too. Please PM me if anyone has extras laying around. Thanks SU community for the recent support.
