Ok im not sure who needs to know this but I'm amazed at how often it happens. When a shipping day has been agreed upon: printing out a shipping label and letting it sit for a day or 2 is NOT the same as physically putting the package in the mail lol. I get it, life is busy. I have 3 kids, work like an animal. But when i say it'll be shipped, its ACTUALLY SHIPPED

Finally got a 30#+ in my home river system. She was a long time coming. Seeing the eat made it even better. Rashed up Taxi Trout for the win. The look down and to the side is me realizing I sat on my Megadog and got a hook in my butt trying to get a pic. Hurt, but was worth it.

Got my Pb rat on Saturday. I modded the bait by attaching this fish. It looks much better now

I mean who doesn't love fishing around waterfalls and it sure doesn't hurt when the bass are sitting there waiting for a trout to shoot out even though it was a shorty bass! This was the first fish on the Hiroshima 8.5 i got from @SkagitBasser. Like I told him, this bait nearly suspends in the 67-69 degree water i was fishing, the fish are absolutely mesmerized by this thing!

Put up a heck of a fight...... Personal Worst, yet to date. Hopefully someone other than me, finds this amusing. (I tend to think that I am hilarious)

Got my first couple fishing weed edges with the working class zero 6” citizen with a drip kit. All bites came in a half an hour biggest going four and change. EQ Tech hoodie is pretty sweet. My girlfriend got a sunburn but I could have stayed out all day.

This plus all their other antics, social media nonsense and then calling out autism fundraiser I don’t know how anyone can support this kids.

So this is the Plano case i use, I forget the mode but easy enough to match it. It’s comes with two dividers I don’t use em. this is what fits in there with room to spare. the bass bag is the “burse” (bass and purse mash up)That has two leader spools in it, holds my scale/pliers, a bunch of terminal tackle in pop top bottles, line cutters, extra worm and tails for baits. 2 document bags with hard baits (4-8 baits per bag) 1 document bag with soft baits bug spray/sunscreen @Fallof74bait wrap with one or two baits depending. the box is super convenient, foot print is small, it’s super sturdy. Waterproof

Silicone arrived today and I have old molds chopped up and ready to recycle, but now I'm almost out of mold release. Go figure. Might take the risk to squeeze some out of the can but I'm scared it won't be enough. Having a mold fuse together after all that work is not a good feeling haha. These are critical steps in my building process, so I'm trying to force myself to go slow and think things through. Here's a better shot of the head detailing as I'm cleaning it up in preparation for light primer (I prime my masters more to protect the wood and reveal defects than to fill in blemishes). I may have to move the line tie and even the hook hangers around eventually, but so far I think this is ideal placement to minimize fouling and maximize hookups. Can't wait to start tinkering with different models of this bait!

Yeah i cheated on that one and just bought an aluminum prefabbed console, i tried the tiller game at first and didn’t care for it. There’s something to be said about siting in an actual seat and steering your way to the next spot lol.

if you are running braid your line is most likely slipping on the spool. take the line off the spool and wrap a piece of electrical tape around the spool then respool your braid.

Yeh and funny thing is that a few years back, these baits weren’t selling at all. $64 for a TK and $90 for the K9s when they were being sold at all the tackle shops. Now look at it lol

So I've never bought anything from a bait drop, but from reading the drop posts here on SU, man, DRT has the GOAT business model: pump up demand, do unannounced drops of limited, high-priced supply (that sells out in literally MINUTES because of manufactured demand), and make it known that the only way to get in on drops is to be a member/social media follower of the company. Chit is BRILLIANT.

Just bit the bullet and ordered a case of mold release and some extra silicone this morning, so we should be good to proceed once it arrives. After I get these new hard baits dialed we'll consider looking into injectors. Still looking around for a good locking model that's not too pricey, but even after we find one we'll have to remake all our soft bait molds to accommodate it. We have lots of work ahead haha

Before these 2 trips I was averaging 1 to 2 swimbait fish a month this year.
