DRT Klash 9 - Believe the HYPE

I mean who doesn't love fishing around waterfalls and it sure doesn't hurt when the bass are sitting there waiting for a trout to shoot out even though it was a shorty bass! This was the first fish on the Hiroshima 8.5 i got from @SkagitBasser. Like I told him, this bait nearly suspends in the 67-69 degree water i was fishing, the fish are absolutely mesmerized by this thing!

Got a 5-0 on the citizen burning it through some pads and a 4-1 and 3-15 on the go2

Caught this fish in spring during a new moon. Fished all night for no love. Hours later, tired and defeated, I bombed out my last cast. Ten feet from the bank my mink gets slurped down and it’s on. After a quick fight I get her up to the bank and realize she’s a lot bigger than I thought she was, and thought this could possibly be my DD. I put her on the scale and it only read 8.17. I’ll admit, even though this was my biggest bass, I was a little disappointed that it missed the DD mark. I can definitely see how those who don’t carry a scale can get a little wild on the guestimates. Nevertheless, I quickly got over the initial disappointment and still think about it all the time.

If you don't fish the king daddy your missing out. If I wanted to catch a DD I'd throw a rat but some of the places I fish around this time of year it becomes impossible to throw anything but a weedless bait

I was just going to say, print the prints yourself. Print it on tissue paper or gift wrapping paper. I used device 2ton epoxy mixed with denatured alcohol to thin it out. The paper is really flexible once its wet and can be left to dry. I threw another coat on top of that once it dry but it's not necessary. Then throw the skin back on and paint. This is the only wrap I did and am sure theres easier ways to do it. Haha It's a silent killer converted.

Got a few meatheads on the way and was wondering what the census was on them? They look pretty fishy. New to the Big Swimbaits game but this brand has really caught my attention for the realism and attention to detail. Recently acquired a few strong shads and am beyond pleased with the appearance and action in the water.

This happened earlier this spring, but I still wanted to share this here. She came in right at 7.10lbs and 23 inches. I was searching for this one for a while and spring kicked my ass with lost baits and snapped rods...cough cough Onager. So I was stoked on this fish to say the least! She came off the DBDT black crappie glide. Kinda took a gamble on this swimbait as the owners are new (although the same mold as GFG), but I sure am glad I did! Can’t wait for this feeling again

Carp/bluegill looking/body style baits...."Think about it, how many rats cross the path of bass to how many carp and gills cross there path in there lifetime"......= Odds/Percentages/most natural forages!

98% of the framing is all aluminum, angle, square tubing, and some flat bar. I did have to incorporate a small amount of 2x2 red wood that was Painted for extra protection in the core of the center storage. After seeing the advances that the tiny boat nation group is doing now in there builds i would have done 100% aluminum in all the framing and even the deck If i did it again, just to ensure that wood rot would never be an issue. All in all with all the careful wood preparation and use of high grade marine rated ply i am not concerned at all with any of it not lasting for a very long time

Ha, Mickey of 3:16? When I first started swimbaiting and joined this site, I went back to the beginning of the posts, scouring the threads for any knowledge I could glean as a newbie. I swear, it seems like every other post in the BM back at the beginning was about 3:16 baits, I was like man those things must've taken the world by STORM when they came out. Based on the prices I see for 3:16s these days, seems like they're still in just as high demand as ever. It's cool, I'm not knocking anybody's hustle, or anybody's willingness to pay what the market demands.

It’s been hot as hell here and one of my most reliable summer patterns is the mid day topwater bite. Also spotted some bluegill beds on a sandbar dropping off into about 8ft and caught one lurking on the drop off on a gill glide.

A day or two doesn’t even phase me anymore. Usually it’s a label and sits for nearly a week. I’ve even have people say straight up lie and say it shipped on day x, but when I look at tracking they never even dropped it off for a few days after. Don’t even get me started on people who put a $200+ bait in an open flat rate box with no padding whatsoever, left to bang around like a 10 year old in a bounce house for 4 days. Good thing mail carriers handle all boxes and packages carefully

I have been changing all my curado 301's with the Toro beast 51 and 61's and have been happy so far

I'm friendly with two Shimano pro staff guys here in New England, and reached out to them, as they both are legit and always have the new gear out being tested in a number of platforms (fresh/salt/offshore tuna, etc.) so once i hear anything one way of the other I'll update. I would have to believe they have a response for the tatula 300 which would probably have been unveiled at icast, theyll probably do a live virtual release as they have a ton of new updates to their line up

Took my tripletrout stubby out for the first time. And ended up with this toad. Not bad for the first fish ever on a triple trout for me.

glad i didnt see this video before i bought my hinkle. the first part of the video makes the bait look awful imho, i think its really tough to get real swimvideo of most baits unless you have stationary camera set up and swim the bait by em in different directions/retrieves. there was a local plug builder here in NE and had these underwater videos done by a professional diver/videographer and they did more to hurt his business than help it, the angles/views where all off and really made the baits look horrible in the water, even though they were proven baits. that dual underspin mod is badazz though. might have to try that on a real prey
