Selling my shimano Calais CL 100a (no DC chip) I've had it for a while and it's the best reel I own, but I need the money. It has some minor scuffs on it due to the shininess of the frame, but it's solid metal and is a total beast. It gas 11 bearings and it super smooth. 250 shipped -
Looking for another treble bait rod, I have an M1 which I love and an okuma sbx for heavier stuff. The okuma is very much fast action so better for jig hooks. Many non custom rods in the under 6oz class are rated fast. What are your favorite medium action or slower "fast" rods for these style of baits? Not looking for custom at this point.

What do you guys think about throwing swimbaits in Minnesota. Knowing the bass up here generally don't get as big as the south due to winter and the toothy critters arent helping. 5 pounders up here are hard to come by. I'm thinking about picking up a deps 250 and tossing it around a pond by my house that I myself personally caught 1 and seen 1 5 pounder pulled out of it. The only success i've had with catching fish on swimbaits is the ganteral. Any other ideas? Would the 250 work? Something they've never seen before...
